I'm barrels! A Filipino artist who likes drawing girls and being productive~I specialize in character illustrations and pixel art! I also used to dabble in gamedev and writing.Art, music, and games are my top interests! Creating has always been my passion. My love for art started even before I entered elementary school. I loved making stories and trying to create different kinds of characters. Art has always been a valuable companion in my life, and I aim to become better at it as I try to understand my strengths and weaknesses.After trying my hand at pixel art in 2017, I got into game development the following year. terms of service
Payment is done as follows: 50% upfront then 50% after commission is finished (I will be sending a preview) and ready to be delivered. For sketches and PWYW Skeb-style commissions, payment is given 100% upfront. The client can pay through Vgen, Paypal, Ko-fi, Wise, Maya, Unionbank, and GCash. Payment plans are considered for bigger projects (examples: game sprites, stream avatars, etc.)
I am allowed to decline commissions. Once I've received your order, you will be notified within 2 days whether I've accepted it or not.
Commissions usually take 2 weeks to 3 months to complete depending on its complexity and my workload for that month. I will be sending you progress reports so please be sure to check your messages!
For regular commissions, I offer unlimited revisions until the flat colouring phase is done. Once I start the rendering process, I can only do 3 minor revisions before I start charging for more.
For animated commissions, revisions on the base of the sprite can only be done before the start of the animation process. During the animation process, revisions can be done as long as it's only movement and not a major design change on the base sprite.
For PWYW/Skeb/Suprise Me! commissions, there will be no revisions, feedback, or communication between us other than the filled-up request form on Vgen or the initial order on DMs/email.
There will be no refunds after work on the commission has been made! If I am unable to do your commission within the intended timeframe, I'll be offering a refund. Refunds may take a while to process because I use the upfront payment collected from each batch to fund myself for the next few months while working on that batch.
You may use the commissioned art for your social media account/s, streams, or as a digital asset but are not allowed to redistribute it as paid merchandise unless you decide to pay for the commercial fee.
Credit must be given whenever you can. Please use "artsybarrels" or “sloppybarrels” when crediting me. You may also link to my Vgen, Ko-fi, or Twitter.
Reposting my art and claiming you made it is forbidden. I also don't permit anyone to turn my art into NFTs or be used for AI learning.
Once done, commissions will be sent through a Google Drive link or through Vgen (if you used that service to order the commission).
I am allowed to publish your commission anywhere on the internet UNLESS you specifically tell me not to.
Ordering a commission means that you have read and agreed with these terms.

Once upon a time, a mergoat who lived in a lake wished that she could fly like the birds in the sky. She would swim to the shore and attempt to drag herself out. Praying to the sky gods that they would let her fly.Everyday the mergoat would swim to the shore and pray. Her frequent visits slowly led to her scales falling off. After all, this isn't a place for someone like her and her body greatly took the toll.Her scales are fed to the lake's infestation. Soon enough, there were no scales left. The hyacinths grew full. Her tail was gone and was replaced with legs.The lake did not appreciate the ungrateful mergoat who longed for the sky so much.It disowns the ungrateful and wash away their scales. Scales never to be seen again. It was how it serves its justice.On that shore, the mergoat kept praying to the sky everyday but the gods would never grant her wish.
